"Nancy" (comic strip - January 27, 2002) - artist Guy Gilchrist shows Aunt Fritzi rummaging through boxes of old albums and reminiscing on the size of them. She holds in her hands, "In Search of the Lost Chord". A few panels later she comments on the different styles of artwork on the covers, "...the Cosmic Art of 'the Moody Blues',..."

"Ripleys "Believe It or Not!" (comic strip - April 21, 2002) / The text of the strip, "In 1966 Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues wrote the song "Nights in White Satin" in 4 minutes! Four decades later the band continues to perform the song to four generations of dedicated fans around the world!" is accompanied by a drawing of Hayward playing the red Gibson guitar.

Classic Rock (UK magazine - April 2002) / The Moodies were featured in a 4-page article, "Still Got the Blues: Concept records, LSD and spaced out fans who thought the band knew the secrets of the Universe" with quotes from Hayward and Lodge.

Rock Hall of Fame "Legends" series (June 21, 2002) / Justin Hayward sang and was interviewed on June 21, 2002 at the Rock Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH, following the "Shamans and Chefs" benefit (see Section 8.7-Charity Appearances) on the previous evening. Hayward played "Your Wildest Dreams", "Tuesday Afternoon", "The Actor", "Voices in the Sky", "English Sunset", "Who Are You Now?", "Never Comes the Day", "Forever Autumn", "Driftwood", "Nights in White Satin", "Question" and a cover of Buddy Holly's "Heartbeat" amidst answering questions from an interviewer and the audience.

"This is Your Life" (TV, November, 2002) - John Lodge and daughter Emily were guests on the show honoring Babs Powell.

Wild Westerns (magazine) / John Lodge has become a regular contributor, He has written an article in issue #4 on Jimmy Stewart, a 5-page article, complete with photos, about Michael Landon in issue #3, winter 2002, an article in issue #2 about John Wayne and a piece about Jay Silverheels (Tonto in "The Lone Ranger" series) in issue #1. Record Collector (UK magazine - February 2003) Justin Hayward is interviewed in a 6-page feature with vintage photos.

"Coulter and Company" (Irish TV, filmed July 7, 2003, aired August 29, 2003) Justin Hayward, Simon Casey, the Irish Rugby Squad, George Hook, Mick Galwey, Errol Brown and Rodrigo Y Gabriela filmed this TV show at University Concert Hall in Limerick, Ireland.

Capital Gold "Legends" Awards Ceremony (September 26, 2003) Justin Hayward and John Lodge performed an acoustic version of "Nights in White Satin" at this award ceremony. WMGK (Philadelphia, PA radio station, September 29, 2003) Graeme Edge was briefly interviewed by Debbi Calton on the "Noontime Nuggets" show.

XM Satellite Radio (November 17, 2003) Justin Hayward and John Lodge were interviewed on the "Fine Tuning" satellite radio show, and performed live acoustic versions of "Tuesday Afternoon", "The Story In Your Eyes", "The Actor", "The Spirit of Christmas", "December Snow" and "Lovely To See You".

"The Early Show" (TV - December 2, 2003) Justin Hayward did an appearance and performed "December Snow".

WCBS-FM Radio (December 2, 2003) Justin Hayward was interviewed, mentioning a possible Days of Future Passed theme park which is under construction somewhere in the Carolinas.

Music Connection (magazine - December 2003) Justin Hayward was interviewed to promote December.

Record Collector (UK magazine - December 2003) John Lodge is interviewed to promote December and the October 2004 UK tour.

"Capital Gold" (UK radio - December 17, 2003) John Lodge and Justin Hayward were guests on this radio show, and performed "December Snow", "Blue Guitar" and "Don't Need a Reindeer".

Sunday Times (UK newspaper - January 18, 2004) - John Lodge talks about his house, "Tudor Lodge," which he has owned since 1970.

Razor ("men's" magazine, March 2004) - A brief article and small photo of Justin Hayward appear in this issue.

October 27, 2004 - British Academy of Composers and Songwriters awards Justin Hayward the "Gold Badge of Merit" in a ceremony at the Savoy Hotel in London.

"50 Jahre (Years) of Rock/Love Songs" (live German TV (channel ZDF) appearance - November 27, 2004) Hosted by Thomas Gottschalk live from Bremen, The Moodies, Norda Mullen, and an unidentified session keyboardist performed "Nights in White Satin". Also appearing were Uriah Heep, Ian Anderson, Joe Cocker, Def Leppard and Meatloaf, among others. "All You Need is Love" was performed as a finale by all the musicians participating. The show was promoting a compilation CD of the same name.

TV ads supporting the opposition against the recent muddled Ukrainian presidential elections (beginning November 30, 2004) The Moody Blues, along with Sting, Joe Cocker, Chris de Burgh, Zucchero, The Cure, Jethro Tull, tennis star Boris Becker and German footballer Franz Beckenbauer are featured.
